R S G Landscaping has a 2001 Ford F-250, 7.3 liter DT44E International, with 249,063 miles on it. They have been using Schaeffer Oil since 2001, changing the oil at 15,000 miles.
In July, 2009, the truck had a bad injector nozzle. Kenny replaced the nozzle and drove it about 200 miles, when the tip broke off that nozzle and went into the engine. The tip, being hardened steel, beat the top of the piston, cracked the cylinder head and cracked the turbo.
After pulling down the engine Kenny noticed everything looked “brand new, there was no wear”. He even reused the same bearings!!
